Going Green!

Green was perhaps the hardest drink to select for the rainbow of drinks - it really lends itself more to Halloween themes and witchy cauldron vibes, but when we commit to an idea, we go for it, so taking a couple of liberties and using the packaging as our green colour we have Mude's Work. Bahama Blue?

This was another selection that needed some out of the box thinking.  There aren't many AF drinks that come naturally blue, so Laura picked an AF mocktail recipe, that not only works for our rainbow this month but also would be wonderful for beach themed gatherings, gender reveals and christenings!

Introducing......The Blue Shoe!

The main ingredient is a blue variety of Hawaiian punch called Polar Blast, which tastes like a blend of berry and orange flavours.  It’s usually available on Amazon, but you can also substitute Kool-Aid’s Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade Drink Mix.

Or you can use any type of blue soda you can find. The ingredient that can be most hard to find is the white cranberry juice. But again Amazon is your friend here. White Cranberry juice helps to preserve the blue colour in your drink - normal cranberry juice will give you a stunning purple hue instead!

• 3 ounces Polar Blast Hawaiian Punch
• 2 ounces white cranberry juice
• 7-Up / Sprite
• (To offset the tartness, add some Simple Syrup)

Passion For Purple...

This one was a simple selection.  There is nothing better than a smoothie in the summer and this Blackberry Smoothie recipe from BBC Good Food is one of our Laura's go to slurps!

Here's what you need...

• 10 frozen blackberries
• ½ banana (or 1 small one), sliced
• 1 ball of stem ginger, from a jar
• 100ml pomegranate juice or red grape juice
• ice
• 1 thyme sprig and 1 frozen blackberry, to garnish

How to make it....

STEP 1

Put all of the ingredients, apart from the garnish, in a high-speed blender with a few small ice cubes, then blend until smooth and thick.

STEP 2

Pour the smoothie into a margarita glass or a tumbler and garnish with a thyme sprig and frozen blackberry.

Enjoy!

The Pinkest Drink

And last, but by no means least, we have the MYTH Coconut Raspberry Fizz⁠!!!

Here's what you need...

Double measure of MYTH Coconut (50ml)⁠
Raspberry Soda (100ml)⁠
Fresh Raspberries and Mint⁠
Grenadine Syrup⁠
⁠
METHOD

• Prepare the garnish – thread fresh raspberries onto a sprig of fresh mint.
• Pour a large measure of MYTH Coconut over a good quantity of ice.⁠
• Top with 100ml of Raspberry Soda.⁠

Lay your fresh raspberry garnish across the top of the glass.⁠....cheers!
